I am going to begin blogging again..yeah I know sad huh.

Anyway, Hope you all had a super holiday season.

Ours was different, but the same. Boy, the kids are growing up fast.

Zac is in the second half of his third year of college. Taylor will be graduating high school this May and PJ is a sophomore in high school. Seriously, where did the time go?

David is singing in a Gospel quartet and hoping to resume singing barbershop as well.

I am still working from home and just having a good time enjoying my family.

From our home to yours I hope you have a blessed holiday season. I have not been blogging as much as I spend time with my family and kiddos. Zac is home so we are 5 of us again :) That of course makes me HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!

Christmas Part One

We have our annual LARGE family christmas with Grand Issy. This year it was at Aunt Carol's house and good food and fun was had by all. Lots of generations. Some were missed....Scott & Mary. Everyone got a something so no one went home empty handed, but I guess the best part of this day....even though it is short....is that all the generations are there. So many families are spread across the country and we are blessed to have this section of the family close enough for all of us to get together!!

Before we went to the Christmad gathering, David and I got our present to each other delivered....A NEW BED[ yes I know the greens do NOT match. They are from different sets, some flannele some cotton but for now they will do just fine. We have had a waterbed frame and either waterbed or foam type mattress that is low to the ground. It was just getting to be too uncomfortable that neither of us slept well or work up feeling rejuevenated. We will eventually get all the sheets and a dust ruffle but our conforter from Dad and Gayle and the electric blanket from mom is all we really need. No one comes up here but us HE HE...

Well my baby girl turned 16 yesterday!!! Wow time sure flies!!!
She is showing you he new Sarah Jessica Parker dress coat. She is loving it..and decided to make a .......very interesting face!!!
Her big party will be New Years Eve!!! Family friendly of course.
Taylor was born Dec 11, 1992 at 10:39 am after 3.5 hours of labor. Went to the drs office....they made me SIT in the lobby til they realized I was in pain and said GET TO THE HOSPITAL after they checked me.
Much of a change after a 49 hour labor with ZAC!!!

We had another birthday this week. Zac's was December 8th and he turned 19. My first birthday without him was difficult. I realize my life with him is changing!!!! SIGH

Two more birthday's this month: Kim on the 21st.....and Our Lord BABY JESUS on Dec 25th.

Well David started decorating outside today....but as you can see it was snowing so he just got a bit done. Didn't want to be on the ladder and slip that would be bad.
He and I are NOT feeling well. I am running a high fever and he's getting congested. Praying that's all it stays
I can't believe how soon it is until Christmas...time is flying and my house isn't anywhere near done.
Guess it will be as done as it is.....or I can do.
I have very little voice so can't work much either, which is N O T good.
The snow is pretty though.....covers what leaves we didn't get done ....shhhhhhhh

We can ONLY hope that this is all the cats do to our new tree this Christmas season.
I am having nightmares of it all coming crashing down and all my beautiful ornaments in pieces.

Celebrating Zac's 19th Bday

Well since Zac will not be home again until Christmas break, we decided to celebrate his birthday today. We all went out to eat midday as a family which was sooooo nice, then home to decorate for Christmas and open presents[ well and eat cake but we were all full so he took it to school and was gonna share it with his Kappa Kappa Psi peeps!!]. Here he is showing his Bowling Green Football jersey that he never thought we would buy{ SURPRISE!!!!!]. He also receive the movie Wall-e and a years subscription to Netflix so he can get movies on his computer and through the mail at school and not have to spend as much on entertainment!!!!
I am thinking we are going to do netflix as well for a family Christmas gift.
We took Zac back to Bowling Green after beginning to decorate the house. He couldn't do it all, he wanted and needed to get back!!
He is recovering nicely from his bout with MONO, but still needs to get more sleep than he is I fear. But coming up to exams plus working, not sure that's happening until Christmas break.
